Job summary

ClearpointCo in Downtown Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for a hybrid, long-term engagement. The role focuses on building robust ETL/ELT processes and high-performance data solutions that support enterprise analytics.

You will develop Python-based applications, APIs, and microservices, while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights and ensure smooth production support across diverse data environments.

Qualifications

5+ years of Data Engineering experience.
Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, Elastic, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
Advanced Python development skills.
Experience building scalable, high-performance data processes and applications.
Experience developing APIs, microservices, and integrating front-end applications with backend databases.
Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and data integration.
Ability to balance both development and production support responsibilities.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:
