Job summary

BrickRed Systems in Frisco, TX is seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Technical Lead to architect and lead enterprise-scale finance and revenue data solutions. You will drive Snowflake, Databricks, Python/PySpark, SQL, and cloud-based streaming architectures.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and ensure data quality, governance, and secure data lineage across finance domains.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience architecting enterprise-scale data solutions in finance/revenue domains.
• Hands-on leadership and architecture of ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake, Databricks, Python/PySpark, SQL, and Azure/cloud technologies.

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Technical Lead to architect and lead enterprise-scale finance and revenue data solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Python/PySpark, SQL, Azure/cloud, streaming, CI/CD, data quality, and finance/revenue data.

Location & Experience

• Frisco, TX – 100% onsite
• Relocation candidates may be considered.
• FAANG experience is mandatory: Meta, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, or Google.
• Tier-1 product-based company experience may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and lead scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for finance, billing, revenue, GL, and OPEX data.
• Design batch, incremental, CDC, and real-time data ingestion solutions.
• Lead Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Airflow/ADF architecture and best practices.
• Build real-time solutions using Kafka/Event Hub and Spark Structured Streaming.
• Establish data quality, testing, observability, monitoring, and governance standards.
• Implement enterprise data models, SCD strategies, partitioning, and performance optimization.
• Define CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, and deployment standards.
• Ensure security, RBAC, PII/CPNI compliance, data lineage, and auditability.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, conduct code/design reviews, and collaborate with business stakeholders.
