Senior Data Engineer

Job summary

Charter Global Inc. is seeking a Data Engineer for a remote/hybrid 4+ month contract. You will design, build, and support scalable ETL pipelines and data integrations in a modern cloud environment.

Work with Agile/SCRUM teams on the Prime Services domain to ensure reliable production systems, optimize performance, and document architecture and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong experience with Snowflake, advanced SQL, data modeling, database design, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on expertise with ETL and streaming technologies such as Informatica, SnapLogic, Kafka, or comparable platforms.
• Proficiency in Python and/or Java development, with experience building cloud-based data solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy), and exposure to AI/ML, API development, or BI/Analytics tools is preferred.

Duration: 4 months+ contract

Number of Positions: 2 roles
