Job summary

Harrington Process Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our data, analytics, and integration team in building and evolving our enterprise data platform. You’ll design the data lakehouse, optimize Snowflake, and develop end-to-end data pipelines across ERP, MDM, and analytics layers.

You will mentor other engineers, implement governance, and partner with vendors to ensure scalable, secure architectures while delivering reliable data solutions for complex business challenges.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data engineering experience with exposure to data architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance tuning, Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and cost optimization.
• Experience designing data warehouses/lakehouses and medallion architecture.
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and/or Azure Functions.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience building production data pipelines.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and schema design.
• Ability to communicate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Help design Harrington’s long-term data lakehouse/data warehouse architecture.
• Design, build, and optimize our Snowflake data warehouse, including schemas, security, performance, and cost management.
• Develop Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers using medallion architecture principles.
• Build and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and other modern data tools.
• Partner with our MDM team to support Profisee integrations, data quality, and golden-record pipelines.
• Develop complex SQL, views, stored procedures, validation logic, and KPI queries.
• Help migrate downstream applications from direct SQL feeds to a trusted Snowflake data path.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers and developers.
• Establish engineering standards and support data governance, lineage, access controls, and documentation.
• Partner with external vendors and ensure solutions align with Harrington’s long-term architecture.

Harrington Process Solutions is looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our growing Data, Analytics, and Integration team. This is a senior, hands‑on role for someone who can help shape our long‑term data architecture while also rolling up their sleeves to build pipelines, develop in Snowflake, write SQL, and solve complex data challenges.

You’ll work across our ERP data, Master Data Management (MDM), and Snowflake environments, helping bring these workstreams together into a scalable and reliable enterprise data platform.

What We’re Looking For
