Job summary

Publicis Sapient is seeking a Senior Associate Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Big Data solutions on cloud platforms. You will work with large datasets, real-time streams, and analytics to enable data-driven decision-making for clients.

You will build and optimize data pipelines using Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and Flink, implement ETL workflows, and collaborate with data scientists and engineers to deliver high-quality data products while ensuring governance and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Big Data engineering and analytics.
• Proficiency in Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Flink, and Hive.
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Programming in Java, Scala, or Python for data processing.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing.
• Strong understanding of distributed computing, data streaming, and real-time processing.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and data lakes.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering high-quality data solutions.

Pay Range: $135,000 - $165,000

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. Actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and specific skillset required for the work itself.
