Job summary

Genesis10 is seeking a Business Analyst in Jersey City for a 12+ month contract with a global financial institution. The role emphasizes deep data analysis and presenting findings visually to managers and stakeholders.

You will develop and implement data analysis systems and manage project risks in a financial services setting. Responsibilities include lifecycle analysis, requirements gathering, and preparing materials for stakeholders, with ongoing status reporting to PMO and leadership.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience in financial services.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication with business and tech teams.
• Ability to work with multi-location, cross-time-zone teams.
• Flexible, hardworking attitude in a fast-paced environment with frequent releases.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to handle pressure and conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deep analysis of data and then determine the best way to present it visually to managers and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement data analysis, data collection systems, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Ensure quality assurance and proper process documentation.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques.
• Conduct full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities, and design.
• Prepare materials to present to stakeholders or technology, both visually and in textual form.
• Manage project risk.
• Proactively identify and engage key project stakeholders/partners to avoid unanticipated issues and gaps during project execution.
• Proactive status reporting and key issues.
• Weekly and monthly reporting on project details and status to various stakeholders, partners, PMO, tech execs, etc.
• Effectively directs internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines.
