Kunai is seeking Backend Data/Software Engineers with a data focus to join a team building production software and data systems for a premier banking client, using cloud-native technologies and modern architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in application development with Python.
• 4+ years hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• 4+ years working with PostgreSQL and writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with data migration in cloud environments.
• Experience with Databricks and Snowflake for data analysis.
• Familiarity with Spark, Kafka, or AWS Kinesis.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
• Knowledge of ETL pipelines, Data Quality, and governance.
• Real-time, event-driven data streams using Kafka/OneStream.
• Modeling and tuning in Snowflake/OneLake.
