Job summary

ConsultNet Technology Services and Solutions is seeking a Senior Data Developer for a remote US position. You will design, build, and maintain data-driven applications using Snowflake, Spark, and Scala, guiding development across the full lifecycle.

In this role you will mentor other developers, document specifications, participate in testing and release procedures, and ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability in healthcare data environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical design and coding.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Scala.
• Proficiency in more than one object-oriented language, such as Java, Python, or Scala.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, documentation, and change management.
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Git.
• In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle.
• Strong analytical, communication, and independent decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Location: Remote (US)
Type: Contract, through April 2027 (40 hrs/week)
Employment: W2 only. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

A large healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Developer with strong Snowflake and Spark/Scala experience to design, build, and maintain data-driven applications. You will lead development efforts, oversee work results, and serve as a technical resource and mentor for other developers across the full software development lifecycle.
