Job summary

Supermicro is looking for a Staff Data Center Supply Chain Manager to lead the supply chain for next-generation modular data centers in Wayne, California. The ideal candidate will manage supplier strategies and engagement while mitigating risks and ensuring timely project execution.

Responsibilities include collaboration with engineering and project teams, vendor qualification, and procurement strategy. A bachelor's degree and 10+ years of relevant experience are required. The salary range is $170,000 to $195,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or commodity management.
• Proven experience in vendor qualification, supplier development, and contract negotiation.
• Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure categories including cooling systems and electrical components.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain approved supplier lists and qualified vendor pools.
• Track and report lead times, pricing inputs, and vendor capacity.
• Coordinate supplier engagement, RFQs, negotiations, and performance management.
