Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Data Center Security Manager to lead physical security operations for hyperscale AI data centers in North Carolina. This role oversees security personnel, access control, video surveillance, incident response, and regulatory compliance to safeguard critical infrastructure powering AI capabilities.

You will partner with Data Center Operations, Facilities, IT, Legal, and Security Design & Technology, while ensuring compliance with Global Physical Security Standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive physical security experience.
• Experience managing contract guard forces and vendors.
• Experience with access control and video management systems.
• Ability to lead incident response and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day physical security operations across data center campuses in a 24/7 environment.
• Oversee access control, surveillance, visitor management, and incident response.
• Manage contracted security officers, staffing, metrics, and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customer audits to ensure compliance.
