Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is seeking a Sr. Project Controls Lead in Abilene, TX to manage schedule, cost, risk, procurement readiness, logistics visibility, and delivery performance for the Abilene AI Data Center project.

The role partners with delivery teams, suppliers, and leadership to improve predictability, reporting accuracy, and cross-functional alignment, while driving recovery plans and action-oriented reporting.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in project controls, project management, construction delivery, or related fields.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with large-scale construction, data center, or complex capital delivery programs.
Working knowledge of schedule tracking, milestone management, cost tracking, forecasting, risk management, and project reporting.
Experience with integrated project schedules and project controls reporting tools.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into action-oriented recommendations.
Track record of maintaining trackers, dashboards, risk logs, issue logs, and recovery plans.

Responsibilities

Support integrated project controls for OCI data center delivery scopes including schedule tracking and cost visibility.
Maintain project controls tools, trackers, risk and issue logs, and dashboards.
Track performance across schedule, cost, procurement readiness, materials delivery, and logistics.
Identify critical-path risks, slippage, dependencies, and procurement gaps.
Partner with project teams and suppliers to validate status and improve predictability.
Support schedule development and baseline tracking, variance analysis, and recovery forecasts.
Track cost and change impacts, forecast changes, and narrative explanations.
Coordinate long-lead procurement, material availability, and logistics planning.
Prepare leadership reports, KPI dashboards, and variance narratives.
Conduct status reviews through field engagement and partner updates.
Escalate risks with ownership, actions, and due dates.
Support governance meetings, action tracking, and follow-up discipline.
Translate project data into concise insights for leadership decisions.
