Meta’s Edge & Network Services (ENS) team is actively looking for a Network Engineer to tackle the unique challenges and opportunities we face, while contributing to our mission of building the future of human connection. This role involves data center infrastructure design, fiber connectivity, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deploy reliable networks.

Qualifications

8-10+ years designing and deploying large-scale data center network infrastructure.
Structured cabling and fiber optic infrastructure design and installation best practices.
Experience with TCP/IP, routing, switching and optical transport technologies.
Knowledge of data center design, construction, and start up/commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

Support data center construction and network deployment across greenfield sites, collocation builds, and retrofits.
Collaborate with network engineering, data center design, and connectivity teams to produce design packages.
Act as SME for physical infrastructure and BMS/controls networks in the data center.
Partner with software teams to ensure the Fiber Infrastructure Management tool reflects design intent and changes.
Build automation to drive consistency and efficiency in network design, deployment, and operations.
Oversee vendor field teams to ensure delivery of data center construction milestones.
