Job summary

WNC Corp. in Milpitas, CA seeks a Senior System Engineer/Architect to design and validate spine-leaf fabrics, VXLAN/EVPN overlays, and scalable data center networks. Qualifications

• Experience with data center fabrics (spine-leaf, Clos) and VXLAN/EVPN
• Proficiency in L2/L3 networking protocols (BGP, EVPN, VXLAN, OSPF, IPv6)
• Experience evaluating switches and hardware, and performing build-vs-buy analyses
• Automation experience with IaC tools and network provisioning
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Architect spine-leaf and Clos fabrics for large-scale traffic
• Lead switch hardware evaluations and vendor selections
• Drive network automation and IaC using Python/Ansible
• Design high-availability routing and switching (BGP/OSPF/EVPN) to meet SLAs
• Implement zero-trust network security concepts and micro-segmentation
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents and perform deep-packet analysis
