Job summary

Experis is seeking an experienced Construction MEP Engineer to support onsite mechanical engineering for large-scale data center projects in Des Moines, IA. 10+ years in engineering/construction, preferably data centers or mission-critical facilities.
Strong expertise in HVAC and cooling infrastructure.
Experience integrating mechanical systems with BAS.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specs, and construction docs.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite mechanical engineering support for large-scale data center construction projects and ensure design compliance.
Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors and stakeholders to resolve design conflicts, RFIs, and technical issues.
Inspect mechanical systems installation, including HVAC and cooling infrastructure, to verify quality and adherence to project standards.
Support project delivery objectives related to safety, quality, schedule, and cost management.
Collaborate with BAS, commissioning teams to ensure startup and operation of critical facility systems.
