Job summary

SpaceXAI is seeking a Sr. Electrician in Memphis to operate and maintain critical data center electrical systems, ensuring high reliability. You will perform hands-on maintenance, troubleshoot complex issues, and supervise a team to optimize power, cooling, and environmental controls.

The role requires a proactive approach to safety, documentation, and operational excellence. You will engage with MEP infrastructure, coordinate shutdowns, and contribute to energy monitoring and commissioning

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of hands-on operations/facilities work in data centers.
• Experience with critical electrical systems, power monitoring, and safety compliance.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; ability to document procedures clearly.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate and maintain critical electrical systems in data centers.
• Perform advanced maintenance and troubleshooting of power and environmental controls.
• Oversee infrastructure maintenance and lead a team of technicians.
• Ensure site safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to health standards.
• Provide operational expertise for MEP systems including pumps, chillers, and switchgear.
• Inspect facilities, document issues, and report performance deviations.
• Develop and execute MOPs/SOPs/EOPs and supervise system shutdowns as needed.
• Support commissioning, witness start-ups, and monitor construction progress.
