Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for their Advanced Manufacturing group. This role is location flexible within the U.S., focusing on engineering and design for data center facilities.

You will work on critical facility power distribution systems and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. The position demands a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a PE license, and at least 6 years of relevant experience. In addition, you will benefit from a comprehensive package including health benefits and an unlimited paid time off policy.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in engineering design of electrical systems.
• Extensive knowledge of industrial facility design.
• At least 3 years of data center facility design experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide design work for data center facilities.
• Conduct quality reviews of design packages.
• Assist in the management of project scope, budget, and schedule.

Skills

Engineering design of medium and low voltage distribution systems

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC)

Working knowledge of Revit or BIM software

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
