Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for the Data Center AIS in San Diego, CA. You will research, develop, optimize, and validate AI/ML solutions that enable cutting-edge AI datacenter technology and hybrid AI applications.

As a datacenter AI Systems Engineer, you will collaborate across teams to meet system-level requirements and drive innovative AI solutions with a focus on inference performance, power efficiency, and scalability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field with 2+ years in Systems Engineering or related work experience (or 1+ year with a Master's, or a PhD).
Strong Python and ML framework experience (PyTorch, TensorFlow).
Deep understanding of ML development, deployment, and applications.
Proficiency in system performance profiling and parallel computing.

Responsibilities

Develop AI/ML solutions that integrate Qualcomm AI hardware, software, and ecosystem for high inference performance and scalability.
Assist in design, deployment, and optimization of Gen AI and LLM applications.
Apply systems knowledge to research, design, and validate system-level software and AI solutions.
Benchmark AI models and drive requirements via analysis to meet specifications.
Propose deployment strategies with model/workload optimization and scaling.
Collaborate across teams to implement and test features and verify AI system accuracy.
