Job summary

TechDigital Group in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Technical Leader with 12+ years in data engineering to design and guide data reporting solutions. You will steer data pipelines using Azure, SQL Server, and SSIS and architect scalable ETL processes.

You will mentor a team of data engineers and BI developers, collaborate with stakeholders, ensure data governance and security, and push best practices across projects to deliver timely, high-quality insights.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data engineering or data leadership.
• Experience with Azure, SQL Server, and SSIS.
• Strong knowledge of data governance and security.
• Experience leading BI/data reporting projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of data reporting solutions using Azure, SQL Server, and SSIS.
• Architect and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance across reporting systems.
• Optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance for large datasets.
• Manage Azure Data Services (Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, etc.) for scalable reporting solutions.
• Oversee reporting and data integration projects, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and engineers to define reporting requirements.
• Mentor and lead a team of data engineers and BI developers.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and documentation.
