Job summary

A leading tech solutions provider seeks a Data Architect with cybersecurity expertise to design secure and scalable architecture solutions. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data architecture with strong skills in cloud platforms and cybersecurity principles. Responsibilities include working with cross-functional teams to ensure data security measures meet compliance standards. This role offers a 12-month contract and the opportunity to contribute to critical information asset protection.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role with a focus on designing and implementing complex data architecture.
• Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT and API-based data provisioning patterns.
• In-depth understanding of data security, data privacy, and data governance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design secure and scalable architecture solutions to safeguard critical information assets.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to align data-centric security measures with business needs.
• Lead code reviews and ensure quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills

Expertise in major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Strong knowledge of data management principles

Hands-on experience working with data fabric technology (Starburst)

Excellent problem-solving skills

Strong SQL and Python skills

Experience working as part of the Agile team

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
