Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with Apache Druid, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
• Deep knowledge of large-scale analytical data modeling and distributed systems.
• Strong SQL and MySQL experience; ability to analyze billions of events.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess current multi-store reporting architecture.
• Design scalable, high-performance reporting solutions for large data volumes.
• Define data modeling strategies for analytics workloads.
• Design approaches for event enrichment using metadata from multiple sources.
• Create efficient solutions for unique counts and aggregations at scale.
• Provide architectural guidance for real-time analytics.
• Evaluate technologies and trade-offs across the data platform.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement the architecture.
• Support migration activities and ensure reporting consistency.
• Drive data quality, scalability, observability, and performance optimization.
• Provide mentorship to engineering team members.
