Qualifications

• 7-10+ years in data architecture, data engineering or large-scale cloud data implementations.
• Experience designing scalable, secure, high-performance data platforms for external/public-facing use.
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and DataOps best practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the target data architecture for economic data systems.
• Design scalable storage for billions of time-series observations and revisions.
• Develop metadata schemas for discoverability, lineage, and governance.
• Standardize dataset structures and metadata across platforms.
• Implement scalable data processing frameworks for growing data volumes.
• Improve indexing and metadata strategies for search and discovery.
• Enable advanced analytical capabilities for researchers and developers.
• Collaborate with Application Architect to optimize data access patterns for APIs.
