Job summary

The role requires 5+ years in data architecture/engineering, strong SQL and Python skills, and experience in AWS environments, with familiarity with data catalogs and governance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data architecture/engineering or analytics engineering with enterprise data model ownership.
• Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, dimensional modeling, normalization, and schema design.
• Experience with Python data frameworks for processing and automation.
• Experience designing and governing data architectures in AWS-based environments.
• Experience with ETL/ELT and modern data pipelines.
• Strong project management and ability to engage with customers.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise data model, ensuring production data assets are modeled, documented, and governed.
• Design and enforce data governance standards and metadata management.
• Define and maintain the data catalog and lineage.
• Lead data quality monitoring and remediation within service levels.
• Engage with prospective and new customers to model their data landscape.
• Lead client-facing data maturity assessments end to end with actionable roadmaps.
• Present architecture findings to clients and coordinate with engineers.
• Validate data model decisions and ensure governance compliance.
• Design and build data solutions using Python and SQL.
• Evaluate data tools and architectures for scalable patterns.
