Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with 7+ years of data analytics experience or a Master’s with 5+ years.
• At least 5 years of professional data analysis experience.
• At least 5 years leading and developing with open source data technologies.
• At least 2 years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Refining a new Enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework.
• Planning and executing validation projects.
• Assessing quality and risk of tool methodologies across Capital One.
• Understanding technical issues in analytical tools and risks/opportunities.
• Researching and prototyping industry best practices for emerging analytical tools.
• Communicating results clearly through validation reports and presentations.
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff.
