Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Sr. Data Analysis Manager to join the DGAP team within the Global Payment Networks. The role focuses on managing data-adjacent risks, building enterprise-wide validation programs, and guiding governance of statistical models and data practices.

The ideal candidate will balance data, risk, and project management with strong leadership in a fast-paced environment. The position offers opportunities to mentor staff and influence governance across the GPN data domain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with multiple years of data analytics experience
• Experience leading and developing with open source data technologies
• Experience managing people and teams

Responsibilities

• Refining a new Enterprise-wide analytical tools validation framework
• Planning and executing validation projects
• Assessing the quality and risk of analytical tool methodologies
• Understanding technical issues in analytical tools and assessing tool risks
• Researching and prototyping industry best practices for emerging analytical tools
• Communicating results clearly via validation reports and presentations
• Coaching and mentoring junior staff
