Polymarket in New York City is seeking a data professional for its Trust and Safety analytics team. You will own the analytical layer, writing SQL to answer ad hoc data requests and building monitoring dashboards to surface fraud and AML signals in real time.
You will work on live, real-money markets with immediate consequences, collaborating with Trust and Safety and Data teams to reduce noise and improve detection logic.
Polymarket is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future.
We're growing fast — both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.
Polymarket's Trust and Safety team is responsible for keeping the US exchange clean — identifying fraud, flagging AML-adjacent activity, and making sure bad actors don't quietly erode the integrity of the market. You'll sit on the Data team and work directly with Trust and Safety, owning the analytical layer of their operation: fielding ad hoc data requests, writing the SQL to answer them, and building the monitoring infrastructure that surfaces problems before they become incidents.
This is an individual contributor role based in our NYC office. You'll be working on live, real-money markets, which means the work has immediate consequences. The goal is for T&S to spend their time on decisions, not data pulls.
