Job summary

Quince is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Storefront team. You will quantify performance across cart, checkout, returns, and accounts, building models, running experiments, and partnering with Product, Engineering, and Design to prioritize opportunities.

You’ll be hands-on with Python and SQL, employ causal inference, and leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with autonomy and high standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data science or quantitative analysis experience, ideally on a consumer-facing product, e-commerce, or marketplace team.
• Hands-on Python and SQL proficiency and daily use.
• Strong grounding in statistics, experimentation, and causal inference methods.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end analytics and data science support for cart, checkout, post-purchase, and accounts from problem framing to shipped recommendations.
• Design and run experiments (A/B tests, holdouts) with sizing, guardrails, and post-test readouts.
• Apply causal inference methods (diff-in-diff, synthetic control, incrementality) when randomized testing isn’t feasible.
• Drive funnel diagnostics across cart abandonment, checkout drop-off, and account engagement by device, traffic source, geo, and cohort.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to translate findings into product requirements and trade-offs.
• Build and maintain source-of-truth metrics and self-serve dashboards for KPIs; flag regressions.
• Write Python and SQL pipelines and collaborate on instrumentation and data quality.
• Adopt AI/LLM workflows to raise analytical throughput and automate narrative generation.
• Communicate insights with evidence-based storytelling to stakeholders and leadership.
