Job summary

Gigs is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to shape how data is modeled, shared, and turned into insight across the company. You’ll join a small team of 3 focused on data engineering, analytics engineering, and insight generation, and you’ll be the second dedicated Data Analyst in the team.

You will collaborate with Finance, Growth, Product, and Operations to deliver dashboards and data-driven insights, working with tools like BigQuery and dbt.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of analytics experience with end-to-end delivery.
• Strong understanding of data modeling best practices.
• Able to align with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience translating business requirements into data pipelines and models.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Growth, Product, and Operations to deliver dashboards, insights, or data models.
• Define core metrics, track performance, and build trust in data across the organization.
• Educate data consumers through clear communication and documentation, including occasional training.
• Create analytics content with Product to surface customer-facing metrics via dashboards and data products.
• Work end-to-end with product to map new data points and translate source data into reliable models.
• Work with a modern event-based data platform including BigQuery, Fivetran, dbt, Dagster, Lightdash and Hex.
