Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Data Analyst III to deliver final business solutions to the operations team via a Power BI-focused experience within Ryder's Azure Data Lake. You will craft dashboards and queries that enable strategic decisions and drive insights for internal teams and customers.

The role requires deep supply chain domain knowledge, data modeling, and collaboration with data analysts and scientists to push analytics beyond reporting into prescriptive insights.

Qualifications

• Experience developing BI solutions using Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience with ETL tools (Alteryx or SSIS), SQL, and .NET.
• Strong communication skills to express technical concepts in business terms.
• Experience supporting product innovation using agile methodologies.
• 2+ years creating dashboards for diagnostic analysis; cloud experience.
• 2+ years in applied projects demonstrating digital transformation and data management.
• 4+ years as an individual contributor on a core team.

Responsibilities

• Develop dashboards by understanding business needs and translating data into visualizations to drive decisions.
• Engage the business to prioritize product efforts and create innovative solutions.
• Enhance data maturity and integration to standardize core functionality.
• Collaborate in a team and mentor junior members to achieve success.
• Challenge the status quo and drive analytics innovations by curating new data sources for actionable insights.
• Understand Ryder Business and the role of data in the supply chain ecosystem.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
