Job summary

The Walt Disney Company, a leading global entertainment entity, seeks a Sr Data Analyst to drive personalization for Disney+ and Hulu. You will turn raw data into strategic insights, communicating clear, data-informed stories that guide product decisions and cross-silo initiatives.

You will partner with personalization teams, leadership, and ML experts to measure, test, and optimize recommendation systems, with an emphasis on turning insights into business actions and scalable analytics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or related experience.
• 5+ years of data analytics experience with senior-level exposure.
• 3+ years creating complex SQL/Python queries on large datasets.
• 3+ years Looker or similar BI tool experience.
• 3+ years experience with A/B testing including power analysis.
• Strong statistics knowledge: hypothesis testing, power, CI, regression.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for diverse audiences.
• Experience leading end-to-end analytic projects with data engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, analysis and interpretation of experiments across personalization.
• Collaborate with data engineers and product managers to ensure data quality.
• Perform deep-dive analyses and present actionable insights with visuals.
• Partner with AI tools and methods to accelerate analytics for stakeholders.
