Job summary

YipitData is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead our expansion into new sectors. You will own data strategy and execution for client deliverables, setting standards and building scalable workflows that improve accuracy and efficiency.

You'll collaborate with Insights, Revenue, and Engineering to tailor data solutions to client needs, while mentoring analysts and evolving sector taxonomies as coverage grows.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or consulting.
• 2+ years of experience in a lead or management role.
• 4+ years with SQL, Python, PySpark or similar tools.
• Strong experience with large, messy, evolving datasets.
• Ownership mindset and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own data strategy and execution for a portfolio of client deliverables within new sectors.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert for emerging sector data and align with client needs.
• Investigate and resolve data quality issues and implement scalable fixes.
• Design, standardize, and maintain scalable workflows for expanding coverage.
• Own and evolve sector categorization frameworks and taxonomies.
• Operate as a player‑coach, mentoring the team and setting quality standards.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Data, Insights, Revenue, and Engineering to drive ARR growth.
