Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Sr Data Analyst to join the Inbound Integration team. You will map inbound data across systems, ensure data quality, and drive improvements in data capture and workflow across retail operations.

Inventory Operations is a pivotal capability in leading this transformation. We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and motivated Sr Data Analyst to join our Inbound Integration team. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless integration and accurate mapping of inbound data across various systems, tools, and reports. The ideal candidate has a strong background in data definition, data mapping, data governance & quality, technical languages and system integration. This role will work cross-functionally across business, product and tech to document, align, and optimize data capture and flow and enhance data quality to support efficient and effective Operations.
Data Mapping and Integration: Analyze and map inbound data flows across multiple systems and tools to ensure the integrity and connectivity of the data.
Reporting and Analysis: Generate and maintain reports to track data flow performance and identify areas for improvement. Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with standards. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision‑making.
System and Tool Analysis: Monitor and troubleshoot data flow issues, ensuring timely resolution. Optimize data flow processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross‑functional teams to understand data requirements and business needs. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on data flow processes and objectives. Partner with Product and Tech to drive business requirements for seamless data flow and system interoperability and develop scalable and durable data analytical solutions.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of inbound integration efforts. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on integration progress and outcomes. Incorporate Data & Controls: Partner with key supply chain and operations teams to identify the necessary signals and visibility needed to improve our operations and controls. Determine the data required to capture those signals and build reporting to support control monitoring.
Technical Languages: leverage coding and querying expertise to integrate data across multiple systems, ensuring high data quality and integrity. Analytics Mentoring: act as a lead and mentor to other analytics team members.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data analysis, system integration, and process optimization.
Strong understanding of data flow mapping, ETL processes, and data management principles.
Proficiency in broad technical languages, data querying and visualization/ reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Extremely organized with strong time‑management skills.
The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
$121,000.00 - $199,000.00 Annual
