VK Capital Ventures Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to own truth in numbers across revenue, pace, pipeline, and payroll for Travel Villa Kitchen and related ventures.

You will define metrics, reconcile data from Stripe and Eventbrite, QA reports, and collaborate with data scientists on quality audits. This full-time role offers growth on a funded platform and direct founder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Senior-level data analysis experience with SQL and spreadsheets.
• Ability to reconcile data across sources and spot errors.
• Clear writing; snapshot reports read by founders/investors.
• Experience with messy real-world small-business or marketplace data.
• Nice to have: Stripe/Eventbrite data, Python, nonprofit reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own the Data Science OS weekly snapshot and monthly report to the founders — definitions, QA, and the narrative.
• Set and guard metric definitions across Stripe, Eventbrite, Base44, and the finance workbook so every surface shows one number, everywhere.
• Run QA on all reporting before it ships: reconcile to source, catch your own errors before anyone else does.
• Own the survey data pipeline standard: Protein Pool household responses cleaned, ZIP-coded, and dashboard-ready.
• Partner with the Data Scientists on the data-quality audit — what's missing, what's duplicated, what gets instrumented next.

About VK Capital Ventures Inc. runs Travel Villa Kitchen — a Houston chef co-op, cooking-class and private-dinner company (plus Six Rows Coffee and Farm2Chef, our farmer-chef marketplace) — and is building the data team behind the platform. We are hiring a Senior Data Analyst to own the truth: every number our founders, team, and investors see — revenue, pace, pipeline, payroll — comes from one reconciled place, refreshed on cadence, and you are the person who defines what those numbers mean.

Responsibilities

• Own the Data Science OS weekly snapshot and monthly report to the founders — definitions, QA, and the narrative (our automation builds the pipelines; you own what the numbers mean and whether they're right)
• Set and guard metric definitions across Stripe, Eventbrite, Base44, and the finance workbook so every surface shows one number, everywhere
• Run QA on all reporting before it ships: reconcile to source, catch your own errors before anyone else does
• Own the survey data pipeline standard: Protein Pool household responses cleaned, ZIP-coded, and dashboard-ready
• Partner with the Data Scientists on the data-quality audit — what's missing, what's duplicated, what gets instrumented next.

• Senior-level data analysis experience (SQL + spreadsheet mastery; one BI/dashboard tool owned end-to-end)
• Reconciliation discipline — a track record of catching errors before a boss or a board did
• Writing clarity: your snapshot is the report, read by founders and investors
• Experience with messy, real-world small-business or marketplace data
• Nice to have: Stripe/Eventbrite data, Python, nonprofit or grant-reporting data
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Schedule

Full-time, standard business hours, on a weekly snapshot + monthly report cadence.
