Job summary

Johnson Controls in Milwaukee seeks a Senior Data Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making. You will transform complex data into insights, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support business strategy and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities include collecting and preprocessing data, applying statistical techniques, identifying trends, and documenting methodologies to enable reproducibility. A strong SQL background with Python or R and Snowflake is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or a related field; master's degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related domain, with a proven track record of delivering insights that drive business outcomes.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation, along with experience in programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis. Snowflake platform experience is required.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and a strong ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience in statistical analysis, forecasting, and predictive modeling is highly desirable.

  • Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure reproducibility and knowledge sharing across the organization.

HIRING SALARY RANGE:

$90,000. – 135,000. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. This position includes a competitive benefits package.
