Tiger Analytics is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our fast-growing analytics consulting firm. You will leverage Python, SQL, and cloud technologies to transform large datasets into actionable business insights for Fortune 500 clients.

You will work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, building data solutions, dashboards, and analyses to support decision-making. A master's in CS or related field and 5+ years of data analytics experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, preferably in Tier-1 financial institutions or global banking.
• Strong SQL expertise for large datasets and data manipulation.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
• Experience with Python/PySpark and cloud data processing (Databricks, AWS S3).
• Client-facing or consulting experience highly desirable.
• Knowledge of banking/financial services data is a must.

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst - with strong experience in Python, SQL, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience working with SQL, data analysis, and consulting, and performing data analysis to support business insights and decision‑making.

This role requires someone who is comfortable working with large datasets, transforming data, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into solution requirements.
• Work with large datasets using Python/PySpark (Databricks/Jupyter) for data processing and analysis.
• Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
• Experience handling large‑scale consumer banking, credit risk, or payment processing datasets.
• Consume and manage data from AWS S3 and integrate with downstream systems.
• Build and maintain dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight) for business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science or any related field
• 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics, preferably within Tier-1 financial institutions, top 10 U.S. national banks, or global consumer banking.
• Strong expertise in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and scripting.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
• Understanding of banking/financial services data is must have
• Experience working in a client-facing or consulting environment.
• Hands‑on experience in data analysis, data profiling, and exploratory analysis.
• Hands‑on experience in analyzing, identifying, and documenting transformation logic and rules.
• Excellent teamwork and problem‑solving abilities.
