Marathon Pipe Line (MPL) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Analyst in Findlay, OH. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, critical-thinking, organizational, and communication skills and thrive in a team environment. This role will serve as the lead data analyst for Field Services and Planning (FSP), provide data analytics expertise to MPL employees, and act as the FSP Budget Liaison, managing more than $60 million in annual spending, including providing support for MPL’s vehicle fleet budget and ordering process. This role also guides and facilitates MPL’s resource optimization and productivity processes, which continue to evolve with implementation of the new planning and scheduling platform through the Next Generation Maintenance and Mobility Project. The successful candidate will use creativity, critical thinking, and technology to deliver significant value to MPL.
Bachelor’s degree required. Preferred degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Organizational Management or Business Administration. A minimum of 4 years of experience analyzing and developing visualizations of data to drive decision making. Preferred experience within MPL operations or departments. Advanced knowledge and experience of Power Platform (i.e. Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) required. Advanced proficiency with other Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. required The person must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to set and organize work priorities, excellent time management skills and the ability to work with confidential information. The ability to complete work based on specific time restrictions is essential.
