Job summary

The Clark Agency Recruiters is seeking a SQL Analyst / Data Analyst for a growing manufacturing client. The role sits between data analysis and light database administration in their ERP environment, spanning production, inventory, and shipment reporting, data quality, user access, and the SQL that drives it.

We are looking for someone who will learn the data first and help standardize reporting so it is consistent and scalable as the company grows, with ample room for growth in this seat.

Qualifications

We are hiring a SQL Analyst / Data Analyst for a growing manufacturing client.

The work sits between data analysis and light database administration in their manufacturing ERP: production, inventory, and shipment reporting, data quality, user access, and the SQL behind it. We are looking for someone who will learn the data before they force the reports — and who can help standardize reporting so it is consistent and scalable - as the company is scaling (which also means a lot of room for growth for this seat).

What you will do

• Build and maintain SQL reports across shipments, inventory, and production
• Write ad hoc / parameterized queries so users can filter without a new request every time
• Create views that make frequent reporting cleaner and faster
• Build forms and labels for shipping, receiving, coils, and finished goods
• Clean incorrect or missing data in the database
• Create and maintain data tables in SQL
• Manage user access: logins, password resets, module access, and deny roles
• Help standardize existing report SQL so customer-to-customer logic only differs where it should
• Raise tickets with hosted ERP support for logins and system issues
• Answer day-to-day “where do I find this in the ERP?” questions
• Over time: SQL triggers (block or fire actions in the ERP) and light automation where it saves real hours

What you need

• Strong SQL (reports, queries, views). Enough foundation to learn tables and triggers on the job
• Excel
• Git / GitHub or similar source control
• A few years of relevant experience
• Comfort in a manufacturing or operations environment where priorities can change the same day
• Someone who will partner, not freelance in a corner — you will work directly with the person who owns this work today

What helps a lot

• Any robust manufacturing ERP (SAP, Oracle, Infor, Epicor, Plex, Syspro, IQMS/DELMIA, or similar)
• Time around inventory, production, shipping/receiving, BOMs, or shop-floor reporting
• SQL triggers or equivalent “when X happens, do/block Y” logic
• Python or other scripting used to cut repetitive data entry
