Job summary

Thrive Market is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to translate complex data into clear, strategic insights across product, finance, marketing, operations, and merchandising. You will move beyond dashboards to shape business outcomes with rigorous analysis and a curious, business-first mindset.

You’ll lead end-to-end analytics projects, partner with stakeholders, and deliver data-driven recommendations that drive retention, lifetime value, and growth.

Qualifications

• MBA with analytics/strategy focus is preferred.
• 7+ years of data analytics experience with demonstrated business impact.
• Advanced SQL and programming in Python, Java, Scala, or C++.
• Experience with Hive, Spark and large-scale data tools.
• Snowflake or other cloud data warehouses expertise.
• Strong statistics, multivariate regression, and BI tooling knowledge.
• Experience in eCommerce or subscription businesses is a plus.
• Familiar with A/B testing and web analytics (GA, Amplitude, Mixpanel).

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

At Thrive Market, data is core to how we operate, innovate, and grow. As we continue to scale, we're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to play a critical role in turning data into strategic insight - guiding decisions across product, finance, marketing, operations, and merchandising.

This role goes beyond building dashboards or pulling reports. You'll help translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that shape business outcomes. Whether it's analyzing member behavior, identifying pricing opportunities, or supporting cross-functional initiatives, you'll bring rigor, curiosity, and clarity to every conversation.

You’ll be a trusted analytics partner to leaders across Thrive Market, connecting data to real-world outcomes, and helping teams make smarter, faster decisions every day.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead high-impact, end-to-end analytics projects that inform key business and product strategies.
• Partner cross-functionally with stakeholders to align on priorities and translate questions into analytical frameworks.
• Deliver clear, data-driven insights that influence decision-making across the organization.
• Design and maintain dashboards, models, and datasets that empower business teams to self-serve and track performance.
• Identify data quality issues and help resolve inconsistencies across source systems.
• Leverage external and internal data to uncover category and pricing opportunities.
• Support lifecycle and engagement analytics to inform retention, LTV, and user journey improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance to measure and forecast the financial impact of product and business decisions.
• Respond to ad hoc analytical requests with accuracy, efficiency, and business context.
• Bring thought leadership to Thrive Market's data practices - recommending new ways to enhance our analytical toolkit and processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MBA with a focus in analytics, strategy, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with a strong track record of business impact.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala, or C++).Experience with large-scale data tools such as Hive, Spark, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or other modern cloud data warehouses.
• Strong foundation in statistics and multivariate regression.
• Expertise in data visualization and BI tools (Domo, Tableau, Looker, etc.).Ability to clearly communicate insights to non-technical audiences and influence decision-making.
• Experience in eCommerce or subscription businesses is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with A/B testing, web analytics (GA, Amplitude, Mixpanel), and customer journey analysis.
• Curious, collaborative, and highly self-motivated — with a bias for action and a business-first mindset.

JOB INFORMATION

• Compensation Description - The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000/Per Year.
• Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and geographic location.
