Ascend Learning is seeking a Senior Data and AI Scientist to lead strategic data science initiatives, driving AI adoption and enterprise data readiness for AI/ML use cases. The role designs scalable, high-value AI solutions, including generative AI tools for business data access, across multiple functions.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Data, and Operations teams to embed AI capabilities into products and workflows, translating business needs into action.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a similar quantitative field.
• 7+ years’ experience in data science, ML, and AI projects with emphasis on applied AI and generative AI/LLM-based solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic data science and AI initiatives across Ascend Learning.
• Design and implement advanced analytical and AI/LLM-based solutions.
• Build LLM-based tools and interfaces for natural-language data querying.
• Develop and refresh ML models with disciplined engineering practices.
• Translate business questions into analytical solutions and drive data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data, and Operations teams to embed AI capabilities.
