Job summary

CloudZero is seeking a senior data platform engineer to build and own the data and AI platform that powers the entire company. You’ll design governed pipelines into Snowflake, create a semantic surface analysts can query, and ensure cost attribution across SaaS sources.

You will also own the underlying systems including Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, and Ravenna, so access is driven by identity. This is a hybrid role out of Boston with some flexibility outside East Coast hours.

Qualifications

• 7+ years building data platforms and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, RBAC, and data governance.
• Strong Python, SQL and API integration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the data platform: ingestion from SaaS sources and cloud billing, with backfills and schema drift handling.
• Develop a modeled warehouse with conformed dimensions and a semantic layer.
• Implement data quality, lineage, and cost visibility as a product.
