Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Data and AI Architect to join our Data & AI Technology group within the Digital Engineering Solutions domain. You will lead architecture, engineering, and delivery of data and AI solutions, interfacing with business units and researchers to enable self-serve BI and analytics across the firm.

The role requires deep expertise in data management, AI/ML, and cloud platforms, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Equivalent additional related experience considered in lieu of a degree.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design the architecture for various data and AI solutions, ensuring each solution is scalable, secure, and reliable.
• Engage with business units to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Create data and AI architectures for complex problems in engineering/environmental contexts.
• Scale data and AI solutions across different business units.
• Prepare architecture and technical design docs for data and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, analysts, and stakeholders.
