Job summary

SMEC (an SJ Group company) seeks an Engineer to oversee dam and hydraulic infrastructure construction under the FIDIC Yellow Book. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and mentor government agencies to strengthen institutional capacity.

Requirements include a Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, mandatory Chartered Professional Engineer registration, and 20+ years in large dam projects, with 10+ years in senior leadership; Pacific-region experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Mandatory Chartered Professional Engineer registration.
• At least 20 years of experience in large-scale dam projects, including 10 years in senior leadership.
• Experience in the Pacific region is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Engineer under the FIDIC Yellow Book to oversee the construction of dam and hydraulic infrastructure.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and support government executing agencies through mentoring and capacity building.
