Job summary

The JMJ Consulting Group is seeking a Dairy Product Developer to formulate shelf-stable, milk-based beverages, from prototype through commercialization, coordinating with Regulatory for Nutrition Facts panels.

You will lead cross-functional trials with Operations, Procurement and Quality, prepare product specifications, ingredient statements, and ensure FDA/USDA compliance while optimizing emulsions and dairy ingredients.

Qualifications

• Develop new products and optimize existing ones.
• Create and review nutrition facts panels and ingredient statements to meet FDA/USDA requirements.
• Coordinate pilot and production trials with Operations, Procurement and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products, optimize existing formulations and adapt customer formulas.
• Produce bench-top samples for shipment to customers.
• Set up formulas and processes for plant trials and production.
• Work cross-functionally with Operations, Procurement and Quality on trials and testing.
• Provide technical support and leadership to operations.
