Job summary

Equifax in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to join the security team as a versatile individual contributor reporting to the Deputy CISO. The role spans CTI, SOC, network security, and proactive security, with in-office collaboration four days a week and Friday remote work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with depth in at least three areas: CTI, SOC, network security, or proactive security.
• Ability to shift between strategic improvements and hands-on execution.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM, EDR, and network monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and vulnerability management practices.
• Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based tools and operational integration.

Responsibilities

• Enhance SOC, CTI, network security, and proactive security workflows to run faster and cleaner.
• Elevate threat intelligence so it is actionable and timely for teams relying on it.
• Triage, investigate, and respond during high volume or major incidents.
• Support network architecture reviews and anomaly investigations during audits.
• Contribute to red team engagements and threat/vulnerability management surges.
• Pilot agentic AI tools and build AI-assisted playbooks for triage and reporting.
