Five Stones Research Corporation is seeking energetic candidates to join our Huntsville‑headquartered team. The Cybersecurity Task Lead provides strategic , cybersecurity, and operational support to the CIO, driving enterprise IT and cybersecurity initiatives.

This role oversees strategy, portfolio roadmaps, governance, and incident response within a DoD context. The position requires strong IT and cybersecurity expertise, portfolio and project management skills, and prior operational experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in CS/IT/Cybersecurity/MIS/Engineering
• Five+ years leading DoD/USCYBERCOM-aligned teams
• Experience briefing CIO/CSO on agency actions
• Experience overseeing orders from USCYBERCOM or equivalent commanders
• Experience in government/private networks and CI/CD with IaC/CaC

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise IT and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Develop and align IT enterprise portfolios and roadmaps.
• Oversee enterprise IT architecture and cloud strategy.
• Coordinate security audits and incident response with ISSMs/ISSO.
• Direct the Enterprise Service Desk and 24x7 SOC operations.
• Oversee threat hunting and vulnerability management.
