Fortinet, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technical Support Specialist to provide expert troubleshooting on Fortinet products, especially FortiGate, and to analyze configurations and customer environments.

You will work with QA and development to identify solutions and improvements, and you will help educate customers to close knowledge gaps in networking and security. You will analyze system information, reproduce issues in lab environments, and manage cases from initial contact to closure.

Formación

• 3+ years in technical support or system administration role in a networking/security company or equivalent education
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field is desirable
• Deep working knowledge of Windows, OSX, Unix/Linux environments
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, L2/L3 switching
• Experience with security products – firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, antivirus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Past experience using AI tools to improve day-to-day activities
• On-site work 3–5 days a week; possible on-call rotation

Responsabilidades

• Provide troubleshooting expertise on Fortinet products, especially FortiGate
• Collect, analyze and recommend changes to configuration information
• Collect and analyze customer system information
• Recommend corrective actions based on analysis
• Educate customers where gaps exist in networking or product knowledge
• Consult technical documentation and release notes for known problems
• Replicate customer environments in lab to isolate and solve problems
• Escalate and manage cases to closure
• Manage customer communications and expectations through case closure
