Job summary

Check Point Software in the United States seeks a results-driven pre-sales engineer in the San Mateo area to partner with sales teams and customers. You will articulate Check Point's full portfolio and tailor security solutions for complex environments.

You’ll educate customers and partners on security challenges, drive Proof-of-Concepts, respond to RFIs/RFPs, and stay at the forefront of cyber security innovations.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good understanding of typical customers networks.
• Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Relevant certifications highly preferred, e.g. CCNP / CISSP/ CCSA / CCSE

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the sales team to identify prospects.
• Demonstrate our full portfolio of solutions that help keep organizations safe from threats.
• Educate customers, prospects and partners on security challenges and Check Point solutions.
• Drive meetings with potential and existing customers to identify problems and provide solutions.
• Address technical questions and manage Proof-of-Concepts.
• Respond to RFIs & RFPs.
• Engage and educate key partners and customers on the latest security technologies.
• Active participation in cyber security events.
