Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Process Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community, delivering process engineering support to a cybersecurity operations organization.

You will document the day-to-day of systems, break down system capabilities, build transition roadmaps and implement plans with PMs and TDs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (or 4 additional years of experience in lieu).
• 15 years of experience with Process Improvement on programs/contracts of similar scope.
• Five years' experience in facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across acquisition phases.
• Knowledge of process engineering, operational procedures, and workflows/requirements analysis.
• Experience in documenting processes and process improvement.
• Experience in SharePoint, Confluence, and documentation management.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or Education from an accredited school or university is required. Four years of additional experience may be substituted for a Bachelors’ Degree.
• Requires Fifteen (15) years of experience with Process Improvement on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Experience is to include, within the past ten (10) years, five (5) years' experience in facilitation, training, methodology development and evaluation, process engineering across all phases of acquisition identifying best practices, change management, business management techniques, organizational development, activity and data modeling, or information system development methods and practices.
• Knowledge of process engineering, operational procedures, and workflows/requirements analysis.
• Experience in documenting processes and process improvement.
• Experience in SharePoint, Confluence, and documentation management.
• Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Individual Capabilities/Experience Desired:

• Experience with Graphic Design.
• Experience in gathering functional requirements.
• Experience in Cybersecurity domain is a plus.
• Ability to communicate with other government and contract stakeholders.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.

Peraton is hiring a Senior Cybersecurity Process Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. As a Process Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location.

As a Senior Cybersecurity Process Engineer, you will provide process engineering support to a cybersecurity operations organization and assist the senior system engineers to develop a proposed schedule for all current systems by working with the PMs and TDs to develop transitional roadmaps into future solutions. This includes being highly skilled in ability to document the day and life of a system, breaking down what each system does, documenting what the new system must be capable of and building an implementable plan for transition of services. Contractor may be expected to travel between local sites as part of the duties required for this task.

The Process Engineer will:

• Support System management planning;
