Job summary

Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in the United States is seeking a senior professional to support the mission of the US Cyber Command. The role is within the Cyber Excepted Service (CES) at the Senior Work Level and located in the J9 - Infrastructure Engineering and Deployment Branch, focusing on complex hybrid infrastructure and secure network design.

Responsibilities

Gathers infrastructure requirements to design, develop, plan, deploy, and implement solutions for hybrid on-premise and multi-classification cloud.
Configures, installs, tests, and maintains network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, DNS).
Monitors network performance, diagnoses connectivity issues, and applies patches to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
Integrates new systems into existing network architecture and provides feedback on design and requirements.
Applies cybersecurity principles and risk management to protect against malware and threats.
