You will investigate alerts, drive containment efforts, and ensure timely remediation across endpoints, cloud services, and business systems.

The role emphasizes hands‑on analysis, documentation, and operational workflow improvements, with a hybrid work model near listed Southland locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in cybersecurity, information systems, or CS.
• 4–6 years of cybersecurity, security operations, incident response, IT ops, networking, or related role.
• Hands‑on security operations, incident response, threat detection, or vulnerability experience required.
• Experience with EDR, SIEM, email security, identity security, vulnerability management, ITSM, or similar tools.
• Strong ability to triage alerts and drive remediation.

Responsibilities

• Investigate alerts from EDR, SIEM, email, identity, vulnerability, cloud, and endpoint tools.
• Escalate incidents with clear containment actions and business impact.
• Document findings, decisions, and next steps for audits and handoffs.
• Coordinate with IT, security, and business owners during response and remediation work.
• Support rollout and testing of new security tools and playbooks.
