Job summary

Invictus International is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer III in Alexandria, VA to perform security engineering, develop architecture artifacts, and oversee penetration testing and security exercises. You will configure SIEM tools like Splunk and perform forensic analysis, ensuring security across designs and deployments.

The role requires DoD/IC experience, current TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph eligibility, and ability to operate in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent 4 years experience.
• Minimum six (6) years of relevant experience in addition to education level.
• Must possess current DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM II certification.
• Experience in a DoD or Intelligence Community environment desired.
• Current active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain and maintain CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Perform security engineering and develops security architecture artifacts.
• Oversee penetration testing and security exercises; perform OS forensic analysis.
• Engineer security into system design documentation and configure SIEM and Splunk tools.
• Deploy and operate cybersecurity tools and secure network systems.
• Lead penetration testing and security exercises; conduct vulnerability scans with Nessus.
• Utilize Zeek and ELSA for network security monitoring.
• Develop high level system design diagrams and ensure security compliance.
